We lose in OT, Va Tech and UVA squeak by, Indiana wins, Wyoming wins, etc. I think it would have been better for BC to beat Miami although that one is debatable.

At least Va Tech is killing Notre Dame and we can quit watching that one. Just a terrible 2-day stretch of outcomes.

They are not a lock, especially if they lose by 20 or more here

Committee generally loves noncon SOS numbers, even if under scrutiny you didn't really beat anyone (ND beat UK but nobody else in the top 200)

Not ND's fault that they played the weakest possible ACC schedule and they did win at Miami, and at home vs. UVA to go 3-3 vs. the other top teams in the ACC

Also, bubble team Indiana and fringe bubble team aTm both beat ND. They will be an interesting case study.

I don’t think Tech or uva pass us unless beat a unc or duke. We beat them both on their court and beat ND so Tech W doesn’t worry me yet….
 
I hate the unbalanced ACC schedule so much right now. Notre Dame should 11-9 in conference.
 
Just checked the score. Being a wake fan means every March game that matters, even tangentially, comes down to the last 3 minutes and then goes against the Deacs.

There is no need to watch, but you can’t help but watch.
 
There is zero way the chips fall this way in a universe where Wake isn't cosmically doomed to suffer for eternity.
 
So vt is in and Wake who curb stomped them at their place is out?!

The fact that a couple of days in a tournament counts might count more than getting your ass kicked by 20 at home is a fucking joke.
 
VT is not in right now, I don't think.

But if UVA wins, then one of those teams is in the ACC championship in a game they can definitely win to end all doubt

Or maybe we should've just taken care of business against a shitburger of a BC team and not given ourselves a bad loss.

Maybe we'll get to hang another embarrassing NIT banner that nobody cares about.
