It's an emotional response to the team that "beat" us. I came around this morning to realize we needed Miami to win, but wanted BC to keep it close. BC did its job. 3 of the first 4 ACC tourney games were blowouts. What we saw from the last three games yesterday and so far today is the fact that at various moments, the lower seeds all could have won. The truly lousy part is that Wake was the only team to choke it away, while VT, UVA, Duke, Miami all rose to the occasion...

At this stage, more importantly, we need ND and UNC to do their job and get some help to avoid bid-stealers and bubble teams from winning. I still have hope. Or maybe fool's hope.
 
This is excruciating. How is Miami not in over us with an ACC Tourney win and 2 head to head wins?
 
Lol UNLV looks like dogshit. They heard the Deacs needed them to win the game and it completely threw off their vibes.

Miami is in ahead of us. I believe they were in ahead of us before we lost to BC. Definitely so before they beat BC today
 
miami beat wake twice and was on the bubble. if they lost and were out, that would have spelled trouble for wake. unless the committee decided to pull a 2000 UNC in over UVA
 
watching the ULV game and just saw another flop. apparently coaches teach that if the player lowers his shoulder in the least you need to flop. It really sucks. flopping should be a foul. Out of control
 
Can’t believe our fate could come down to a Wyoming/UNLV game.
 
I can’t believe our best case scenario will be playing Wyoming in Dayton.

I’m hard-pressed to agree. This team has a chance to do just that and came out totally flat and got rolled in the last 9 minutes of the game.
 
Another team that hits a big shot when it counts. Still can’t sell me on Wyoming over Wake.
 
The win doesn't do a ton for Wyoming and a loss wouldn't have destroyed their resume, UNLV's been playing well. Just need them to get beat (ideally handily) tomorrow
 
Has any close game gone wfu’s way in last 2 days?

We lose in OT, Va Tech and UVA squeak by, Indiana wins, Wyoming wins, etc. I think it would have been better for BC to beat Miami although that one is debatable.

At least Va Tech is killing Notre Dame and we can quit watching that one. Just a terrible 2-day stretch of outcomes.
 
Can anyone explain why Notre Dame would be a lock? They are below us in kenpom and Net. Two good wins are Kentucky in December and UNC in early January. Is it just the Kentucky win?
