Recommend good stuff you've seen on Netflix streaming

Murderville is not good, but the Annie Murphy episode is.

Hope it’s a turn in the series.

We're not on the same page about the show in general but Annie Murphy's was quite good. Ken Jeong's episode is the last one and I honestly don't know how he is a professional comedian. He was worse than Jimmy Fallon as far as breaking goes. I've never been a fan but his mug being plastered all over the screen with his Duke shirt just put him into a higher category of despicable.

Taika Waititi’s new show “Our Flag Means Death” on HBO Max has potential. The first 3 episodes are out now. The pilot set up everything it really needed to, and the story it’s based on essentially writes itself as absurdism.

My wife's got me watching The Morning Show and Season 1 was pretty decent, but Season 2 is off the rail halfway through.

Also, new Outlander started Sunday night. Not sure if I will continue to hate watch it. Maybe they can go back to Scotland and do some cool shit again.

Your assessment is spot on. Once they left Scotland the show fell off the rails entirely. I tried sticking with it a little bit, but gave up.

They could go on a tour of golf courses. Maybe Jamie Fraser could be related to Donald Ross or something.

Have enjoyed a couple of new shows from HBO:

1. Our Flag Means Death - Rhys Darby, Taika Waititi, and other notable faces.
2. Tourist - familiar faces, but names IDK

not much to do after the rebellion was crushed

man I remember the first season came out right around the time of the Scottish independence referendum and I kept pissing my wife off saying well if they knew they were fighting for nothing since the people vote to stay a few hundred years later

I think my favorite part of Winning Time was when they briefly cut to Zucker/Abrams/Zucker (Kareem's directors in Airplane) and no effort was made to make them look 40 years younger, they just came in off the street.

Just finished binging Brooklyn-Nine-Nine......very many laugh out loud moments, and I enjoyed the characters. Andre Braugher had me rolling quite a few times. Plus the women are hot!

Finally got to watch some of Peacemaker. First episode was solid, had some good laughs. Second episode had me rolling. I think my wife would hate it, so not sure when I'm going to be able to sneak it in.

Won't be a surprise to anyone, but the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre is terrible and it basically stole the plot of Halloween Kills (which somehow managed to be worse).
