WFU Hoops: '22-'23 Roster Construction Thread: +Ituka/Carr/Appleby/Bradford

LOL. It would be funny if Providence or Wake got another Eric Williams.

LOL part 2. Saw his pic and he's clearly Eric Williams' son.

Well if he’s interested, #31 is still available here :couch:

Wow, we really are in every transfers' DM's lol

On every possible list out there.

Eric Williams who went to Providence and had a long NBA career most memorably with the Celtics.

But I did some more looking and it looks like that Eric Williams does have a son named Eric Williams Jr but it’s not this guy. They do look a lot alike though.

So it’s even funnier that he’s considering Providence and Wake.

Do we really need a 6'2" guard who doesn't rebound and didn't start most games for his team? I would hope we can do better.

ESPN’s new mock draft has Jake at 41 to Charlotte and Alondes at 56 to Portland.

Good for those guys.

If Jake is hearing from everyone that's he's around a top-40 pick, idk how he comes back. It's not guaranteed he would work his way into the first round.

If he hears that from NBA sources, then he should go. Not sure I believe just these mock drafts.

LaRavia's skill set is impressive and I can totally see a team take the risk that they will be able to clean up his issues. Late second round is a no brainer. He's probably too old combined with lack of polish (and consistency) to make first round unless he blows up the combine or a private workout.

i feel like this is groundhog day, our players leaving early with the chance at a 2nd round draft (or equivalent in football) only to not be drafted .

i hope i am wrong, but it feels way too familiar.

I am reasonably confident that Jake will actually be drafted, but much less confident that we will replace his (and ManMan's) production next year
