Most of these people aren't thinking of the "good old days" as they really were - in their imaginations it was like The Andy Griffith Show in real life - everybody seemed at least middle-class or had a decent job, everybody was happy and friendly and neighborly, even if you were a poor hillbilly you didn't seem to care, every decent person went to church, there was virtually no crime, and (most importantly) everybody was white.
 
Lol at anyone who thinks this will motivate folks to vote for democrats in the midterms. Why vote for spineless dipshits who are fucking afraid to govern?

With the balance of the Supreme Court completely changed by a President who lost the popular vote and was able to steal a seat with parliamentary tricks, I'll be surprised if the legitimacy of the Court isn't threatened.

When Democrats govern, they "go to far." When Republicans govern, they are "effective leaders."
 
More blue states need to put forth and codify into law what Connecticut has in the works for abortion.
 
For all of the conspiracy theories and other delusions that the far-right pushes and buys into, they at least seem to understand how government functions and take actions accordingly.

well idk who runs SCOTUS blog, but probably mostly so. then I've also seen some tweets this morning from people like Matt Walsh and other conservatives about how this is the REAL insurrection, not the pitiful little riots of January 6.
