Totally Unofficial 2021/22 Premier League Thread (NWT)

Only gave up one goal in the first ten minutes. Got Chelsea right where we want em.

And now down to 10 men. They're falling right into our trap!

Damn, Dan James was playing pretty dirty this weekend. I guess he just wants out of Leeds.

It would be impressive if Everton hold on for a point against Watford.

It was the type of challenge that ruined Eduardo's and Diaby's careers and almost ruined Ramsey's. A disgusting tackle.

Guessing this is just an attempt at banter? Pretty sad overall performance. All the possession and all the chances but really only a handful of decent ones. The club played like they feel safe with their position, which they are absolutely not.

I don't think goal difference is going to matter. Does anyone think City loses to West Ham or Villa?

probably not but Liverpool losing on GD would be very funny in a highly schadenfreude way

So, what do we think of Tottenham ?

That is an absolute joke

This is an absolute fucking joke. It is so fucking obvious what Tierney is doing.

Paul Tierney gave two soft yellows to Gabriel and gave a Charmin soft penalty when we played City this year. I fully expect him to be the referee for either Newcastle or Everton.

from Scot Murray of the Guardian:

35 min: That could easily have been a straight red, never mind a second yellow. Factor in the unpunished toe-punt to Son’s back, and Holding did enough for two reds and a yellow in 33 minutes of football! What a galoot.
