Chat Thread: An Idiot Abroad: Spain or Italy or France !????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been loving having my Kamado Joe on the back deck. Hope to do ribs this weekend. I was going to order an outdoor prep table/cabinet for storing charcoal and accessories but the one I've had my eye on is unavailable a lot of places. Anyone have something like this?

Unrelated, but we're finishing our basement and the HVAC guys are here today. One of them just casually pulled a 4-5 ft black snake out from under my Traeger and flung it over our fence into the woods.

My biggest complaint w/ the Solo Stove is YMMV on the success of the "smokeless" part of it.

Sometimes it works well. Other times, it is smoky AF.

I am a solo stove early adopter and it is aesthetically pleasing.

Once they get hot it works well. Way better than a typical firepit.

aside from the fact that they're tiny portable stainless steel burn barrels that look like background set-pieces from a early TNG episode?

I got one a little over a year ago and have really enjoyed it. It's basically idiot proof, which is good for me.

I actually wish I used it more often, but I never plan ahead and always find myself meatless and without enough time.

that's what she said

they're great for their purpose, which is creating an open fire in a suburban to urban area or other place where such a thing wouldn't be possible

tiny? you know they have different size models right?

looks better than some tacky contemporary upside down rusty frisbee that most backyard firepits look like imo

Exactly why I bought it.

yeah, they don't look good, but if they're portable and they're purpose is functional then just whip em out as needed
