The GOP dog is catching the car, and you’d think folks like jh would be proud to talk about it since it’s all they’ve ever wanted. But nope, too gutless.

man that one really hits home. our son is obsessed with vehicles so we read a lot of Richard Scarry books.
 
my wife picked up a copy of What Do People Do All Day and it's pretty amazing. my 6yo was fascinated

There is a disappointing lack of birds in Floyd's lyrics....but their songs are so critical of society that birds simple don't fit as metaphors because they are all beauty and light.
 
Seems to me we need to revisit at what age children become adults.

I think it references the way drunk people stumbling around resemble loons trying to walk on land. Think of how a republican looking to justification to not control guns and instead limit the number of entrances to public spaces looks like:
