CT: What's the deal with those guys in The Pit?

I used to have this awful manager who was also paranoid about people complaining behind her back. Sure enough one day I was screen sharing with her and someone pings me which resurrects a conversation in which we were complaining behind her back. No denying it at that point - she never really liked me going forward but she didn’t like me anyway so no big loss.

i like how on teams chat you send IMs to everyone on the call, which is great when someone is inept and sends to all

we had one where a guy hadn't joined the call yet and IM'd the entire team to say "i'm not on this call since they're usually a waste of time." our boss responded "sorry you don't find them useful, there's an easy way to get you out of them if you want to call me."
 
also my ex-wife told her boyfriend that i'm a fucking idiot, except she texted it to me while we were discussing something about our kids on the phone

Sorry, but LOL.

My wife and I use what's app to talk shit about my ex so the lines never cross. She did figure out once that we nick named her Vera so that we could talk shit about her with out the kids knowing.

I've never actually shared anything inappropriate, I'd just rather my colleagues didn't see ebird.org, OGBoards.com and Twitter.com constantly open every time I share content.
 
I was on a big mandatory Teams call for insurance benefits signup that they made everyone attend, in groups, even if we weren't taking the insurance benefit. I intended to message a coworker, saying, "I'm only on this meeting so I don't wind up on some HR list." Of course it went to everyone on the call, including our HR manager ant the insurance enrollment person. A couple of people answered me asking if there was really a list.

My future cousin-in-law has now won 4 rings with the Warriors. Pretty neat. Great dude, too.
 
I swear, half the time I’m at the local airport, character actor Luis Guzman is here, too. That dude must live on airplanes.
 
CEO made it mandatory, starting today, for everyone on the weekly directors' meeting to be on camera.

So no more working out at 12:30pm ahead of that 1:30pm meeting, where I'm typically wearing a tank top and sweating profusely.

There is a researcher interface and a separate birder interface, and I am only registered as a birder, which is not my job really. I have never used ebird "data" for any kind of analysis.
