A Mafia Game Happened Here - Mafia Wins

i think it's what gooner said - it's not so much of a voting "punishment" so to speak, it's just a lot of "SUS" comments that feels uncomfortable when you're civ. I have learned just to let that roll off me when I used to get defensive, partly because its fun and partly because I have learned that chatzy can be as much fun as the game.

next game i am going to spread my votes around regardless of my role. it is TIME
 
I felt the need to share this because I referenced it in Chatzy, but this is toogs' reaction to Beads deciding to fuck around with the role of the Joker in an old Dark Knight game I ran on the Suque. I'm glad to know that toogs has mellowed out some:

I agree that too often we don’t punish late switches or folks who get off the hook at end of round
 
I vote for a wed/thurs game to start the holiday weekend early. Happy to support someone running a game. Maybe I’ll learn the rules THAT way

If you want to learn the rules/setup, the OP contains multitudes of information that could assist you in doing so. Every good mod has such an OP.
 
between all of the smart people here, we should be able to figure out how to auto-mod a game. it really shouldn't be that hard. i'd imagine we'd have to abandon the PM function on this site and use emails, but it could be done.

Day-killed players would announce their role. That's easy enough.

Night actions for anything other than ABC would be an absolute nightmare without some serious software. The software/spreadsheet would be easy enough to write - could use a google form to maintain front-face anonymity, but you've still probably got to have someone on the back end to orchestrate night move interactions. Some of them can be fairly complicated.

Game creation would be its own bear - you'd have to write a program to email/message everyone with their role after RNGing it. That's beyond my skills.

Game of thrones the board game is free on the Epic store right now. Just click the download button and it's yours. Might be a good off-season distraction if things fall off again.
