Chat Thread CCLXV: DDD takes a lover

It looks like if an 80s Deac doesn't have an avatar, their avatar defaults to a giant '8'. This is a super helpful feature to help me identify sports board posts to skip over without having to put them on ignore!
 
I hadn't seen that name for so long that it honestly didn't look like a word, couldn't figure out if it was misspelled
 
I would like a theme where I can make the width of the post boxes smaller. I find paragraphs of text extremely hard to read when they are too wide. Ideally we'd have 45-75 chars per line.

Also the default text size seems much smaller here. Maybe I'm just old.

No this is fine feedback (I'd prefer it in tech forum). I may have tweaked the font sizes too small.
 
The default text size is smaller and don't even get me started on the kerning and leading

honestly i'd just make the board a bit narrower in the CSS, would probably take care of that

though yeah to cookout's point the font on the boards as a whole is a bit on the small side
 
Not having the full page refresh after a post is actually kind of jarring
 
I know that the new default behavior for clicking post titles is "take to last unread", but I still keep find myself looking for that button on the left to jump to last unread
