Chat Thread CCLXV: DDD takes a lover

Oh man can we get an add-on that locks threads automatically at 100 posts?

We had ~20 Chit Chat threads which were very popular and which were seperated via an addon automatic after 5000 replies.
If somebody posted the 5000. reply, the plugin
  1. closed the thread,
  2. createad a new thread with a link to the old one,
  3. took the last 5 posts from the old thread and moved them to the new thread (even it's 100% spam, it's bad to lose the context)
  4. And last but not least => the old thread got also a automatic reply with the link to the new thread

i was just curious if i could use the search feature to figure out what chat thread # this really is (i think it's 250 actually, give or take a couple), and was v amused to realize that betterphan has been numbering them semi-accurately whenever he wins, which is actually sorta impressive

My brain is so programmed to the old boards layout. I am lost right now.

PS - It's probably been posted already, but I'm still getting the '404 Not Found' on Chrome. Working for me on Firefox.

Ohh this is because Chrome is probably auto-filling the full URL to ogboards.com/forums/forums or something, when the URL signatures have changed on this software.. just make sure you're going to ogboards.com with nothing else.

I’m old and I fear change
 
I forgot to put on deodorant this morning so I had to steal a deodorant from the poor kids box and I feel like that's bad karma.
