Official 2022 College Football Thread: Georgia is Back to Back Champions !!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!

BYU missed a FG to beat Baylor at the end of regulation.

The Baylor kicker missed the OT FG worse than the BYU kicker's miss.

RGIII working hard to give an unbiased call here.

The BYU kicker missed again!

This is hilarious. Still tied 20-20.

BYU wins 26-20 in 2OT
Helluva game.

A W @ Duke not looking like a sure-thing. Elko has them jacked.

Gameday will be in North Carolina next week, just an hour and a half or so from Charlotte.

UNC is 2-0 in the Sun Belt. I guess that gives them a shouting chance at the top 25?

That win at App State looks a lot better now than it did last week. Wouldn't be surprised to see them in the 26-30 range.

Is Syracuse good?
Duke is competent.
Do Louisville and BC stink?

Interesting OCC ACC games next week: Texas A&M at Miami, Purdue at Syracuse, Texas Teach at NC State, Ole Miss at Georgia Tech. ACC going 3-1 would help.

that tamu/miami game is at kyle field. i'd be surprised if miami is able to pull that out given that jimbo ought to have everyone's undivided attention at practice this week. also, georgia tech sucks and has little-to-no home field advantage, so i'd expect them to lose. for the acc's sake, really need syracuse and state not to shit the bed.

Shouldn't overplay transitive conclusions, but NW's win over Nebraska looking meaningless after GA Southern scored 45 and beat Nebraska in Lincoln yesterday.

That said, Elko has been successful everywhere as a coordinator, and he will likely be successful as a HC. The most disappointing ACC team so far is BC. This year 3 at BC for Hafley, which is when good coaches start to really get things going. Hafley received a ton of praise for coaching two mediocre teams the past two years, but BC is a full fledged mess right now. They may have the worst OL in Power V. Through 2 games, BC has -6 yards rushing on the season. That is not a misprint. Guessing BC will beat Maine and UCONN, but not sure who else the Eagles are beating this year.

Furman outgained Clemson yesterday. In the Tigers games against two weak teams, GT and Furman, Clemson couldn't muster 400 yards in either. Their offense still sucks. Keep that in mind.

Man Jimbo has absolutely suckered some schools into giving him piles of money. That $9MM/year contract isn’t looking so hot right now.

I’d be ok with Elko being moderately successful like 7-5 (with no wins against us). Let someone else hire hin away and let duke crash and burn

Syracuse is good. OC Robert Anae is good and they'll continue to put up points. Expect a high scoring game when they come town.

Thankfully he also suckered people into giving his bum ass recruits money too. #progress

We will beat Duke handily. Sure they beat two shitty teams which I’m sure feels good for them after watching Cutcliffe slowly let the program burn to the ground. But we beat them by 38 last year and it could have easily been 50+. Maybe Elko will bring them back to a respectable level in the next few years but with the offensive weapons we have this season I expect to obliterate them again. And really that’s what we should be doing considering how Clawson has elevated the program.

Not to mention Saturday after Thanksgiving at Wally Wade is not exactly an intimidating atmosphere.

See you there!
