yupppp, I got wind of it yesterday but didn't want to post anything until I saw something official, just brutal news

he was a really great dude, so different than his boards persona in real life
 

Sad and unfortunate news

Earlier today I was made aware of the sudden passing of BillBrasky, a longtime and avid, passionate poster of OGBoards. He was a part of some legendary conversations and board memes. Many of us knew of Charles outside of the boards as well. He leaves behind an adorable 2 year old son...

I think it's more about backlash against all things Green and those who push climate change as a near-term apocalyptic event.

Like everything else, people view complicated issues through the prism of whichever political party they are affiliated with and nothing ever gets done and everyone hates each other.

Politics suck and our two-party system has turned people into fans of one side or the other and incapable of actually thinking through issues for themselves.

Sure but what’s with the rise in backlash now as opposed to perpetual anger about EV. My guess with respect to timing was simply that bill. But it could certainly be some weird conspiracy that went viral in the conservative ecosystem.
 
I got rocked by something like this a few years ago when a close Wake friend died, death becomes a lot more tangible thing when it’s close to you.

Yeah I haven't had too many non-family deaths (luckily) to this point in my life. This one is an absolute gut punch.

What makes it such a gut punch to me is everyone on the boards could tell he was going through some
shit.
