Wake parents are not generally college football fans, IMO. It doesn't matter who we play.I’m not convinced the regional spectator nor parents really care much for Army as an opponent in football.

Also, true in the most part. Hopefully, WF football success changes some of that over time (lots of time).Wake parents are not generally college football fans, IMO. It doesn't matter who we play.
Yeah, if Sam is going to use such poor judgement in trying to hurdle a tackler and get throw up on the air several feet when we're up 28-0 in the 2nd half, he doesn't need to be in there in that situation. I love Sam to death, but what the heck was he thinking????I was a little surprised that we didn't take the starters out earlier. Really pumped for Grimes on his first college TD, he's going to be a player. Carney is pretty far down the depth chart. I'm assuming this is a red shirt year and we might see him in a couple seasons. The RB room is pretty full of young talent with Ellison, Cooley and now Claiborne.
He's a competitor. It came right after the unnecessary roughness penalty and the waived off targeting. He was saying FU to the Army defenders.Yeah, if Sam is going to use such poor judgement in trying to hurdle a tackler and get throw up on the air several feet when we're up 28-0 in the 2nd half, he doesn't need to be in there in that situation. Translation: I left the game earlyComplaining about fans leaving the game early when the game is easily in hand is the lamest thing ever. Just appreciate the fact that they were there and (presumably) cheering for the team while the game was in question. There are a million reasons that people might need to, or want to, leave early.
There was nobody there after halftime.Translation: I left the game early
did your girls hang in there till the end of the game? My 6 year old did not last to the end of the Liberty game. There was nobody there after halftime.
Got it. I was hoping it was for some sweet post-production video effects. For those who asked, Clawson said in the post-game press conference that his green ribbon he was wearing was for Mental Health Awareness Week, so I'm guessing that was also the reason for the green gloves/socks/tape some guys had on.
I ended up leaving both of them and riding solo. My wife did not relish the prospect of having to deal with both of them the next day after being out until midnight.did your girls hang in there till the end of the game? My 6 year old did not last to the end of the Liberty game.
Also why I'm hoping for a 330 start in 2 weeks since I will also have the wife who is probably even crankier late at night.did your girls hang in there till the end of the game? My 6 year old did not last to the end of the Liberty game.
Your dude is a champMade it to the end with my 5 year old...which was an amazing accomplishment considering at 5pm I wasn't sure he was gonna make it to kickoff. I've learned this season that relocating from the lawn to empty seats at the start of the 4th quarter does the trick for getting him over the finish line.
Clawson's reaction to being asked about this post-game was one of my favorite moments in the Clawson era. His response was hilarious.Yeah, if Sam is going to use such poor judgement in trying to hurdle a tackler and get throw up on the air several feet when we're up 28-0 in the 2nd half, he doesn't need to be in there in that situation.
