Army @ Wake Forest - 7:30 PM RSN/Bally

If I recall they had a huge opening kickoff and then got a TD right away and it was over pretty much then.

The 2008 Vandy game was cold and dreary. Deacs took care of business, which made it less miserable

Unless you sat through UCONN in 2003 (I think) I don’t want to hear it. And I went to that game alone.

Edit to add it was 2003.
My friend swears he was the only one left in the student section at the end, so the whole football team was just staring up at him during the alma mater. Obviously we all left so we were never able to invalidate his claim.

My god did Dan Orlovsky destroy us that day

I think the worst was Miami in ‘05. Stayed still the end. Monsoon. Freezing. Down 40.

Btw, I stayed until the end this past Saturday too!

Think you're confusing games, weather was fine that day. And we were actually in it early on then Miami took off. Still nothing that day indicated what was to come the next season.

2008 Vandy was pretty brutal

Anyone else make it to the Syracuse game during Hurricane Matthew in 2016?
That one might have had worse weather than the UConn game, but we won so it was a much less miserable experience.

Weird how memory works haha! I could’ve sworn that was a monsoon game.

The worst weather I ever experienced was at Boston College in October 2005. It poured rain the entire game and was absolutely miserably cold. I had to change clothes during halftime even with my rain gear.

I was also at Navy in 2009 but I had the benefit of bourbon to keep me warm.

The coldest game I ever attended was the 2017 Belk Bowl. Totally worth it though, seeing Wolford hoisting the trophy at the end was the best.

The Duke game at the end of 2019. I have been to many Wake games when it was raining. And many when it was cold. But never one when it was that cold and that rainy. It was miserable, especially the first half.

Coldest games were the Belk Bowl in the 2006 Boston College game. But luckily, the games themselves made them amazing nights.

The Belk bowl was also at the last game that my wife attended with me. After 4+ hours in the cold, I think she was done with live football.

That UCONN game was miserable. Very cold and got beat like a drum
Yep I was there, it was miserable. UCONN was an ascending program then, but we had no business losing, especially like that. I guess we got some measure of revenge up there in 2006 and then again in the 2007 Meineke Car Care Bowl.
