Fantasy Football 2011

although I am going to do it in a more calm manner than OGB, make this trade right now even with Cam on the bye. I mean McCoy is a top 3 rb now and probably top 5 for the year. There is no way he isn't an upgrade for you. He's already has his bye and will be a must start for the rest of the season. Make the trade, drop somebody and pick up a filler at QB for the week. The likely difference, points-wise, between Brady and Cam will likely pale in comparison to the difference between McCoy and your 2nd RB and/or flex spot.

I'd have to throw in a RB. Either Blount or Chris Johnson. Probably Blount.

He gets:
Tom Brady
Blount

I get:
McCoy
(I have Cam Newton)

If it goes down, this would be the first trade in our league this year. Absolutely everything gets vetoed because I play with a bunch of pricks who are either out of it, or in it and dont want other teams to improve.

Getting offered J. Best for Chris Johnson -- would do that trade next week, after Best's bye week. I hate CJ so much I am think I am going to do this trade, any input? The guy also said he would take Maclin for Best ... my RBs are MJD, Wells, Torain, my WRs are Wallace, Vjax, and Maclin

If everything else has gotten vetoed which is ridiculous, then I would imagine this would, too.

12 team league: required to have at least 2 QBs on roster at all times.

My QB Stafford is on bye this week. Had Colt McCoy on my bench all year, but not enthused about playing him against the Texans, as the Browns seemed pretty banged up. Tebow just got put on waivers. Even though he sucks, he puts up decent fantasy numbers.

Tebow vs. Raidahs
Colt McCoy vs. Texans

As gimpy as Stafford can be, I am leaning Tebow since he has more upside than McCoy and hope I only have to play him once all year. Thoughts?

I'd probably still do it, though I'd definitely offer CJ2K first. However you are screwed because there is next to no chance the trade is approved if all the other ones are being vetoed.

My thoughts are yuck but I think I would go with Tebow. His upside is better than McCoy for fantasy purposes. I have been banished to the hell that is Cleveland for years now and so even with Sunday Ticket I painstakingly sift through tons of Browns coverage every week. They are garbage and I wouldn't touch McCoy at this point.

Just traded away Desean Jackson and recieved Gronkowski and Brandon Lloyd. do my fellow deacs approve?

Like Gronkowski (never really like LaLoyd), but I think DJax is in line for a large 2nd half of the season. A little risky if you ask me.

Completely depends on the rest of your team. If you have solid other WRs you can consistently start and needed a TE, then sound like a good trade. If you're expecting Lloyd to start every week and you had a semi-decent TE, then not as sure.

Pick 1 out of 4 for my Flex:

Ahmad B vs Pats (game time decision?)
Andre J vs Browns (game time decision?)
Reggie Bush vs Chefs (Thomas back?)
Jabar Gaffney vs 9ers (Skins suck?)

AJ if he goes. I am not optimistic on Bradshaw. Gaffney is awful.

AJ if he goes. Bradshaw if he goes and AJ doesn't. Ogbonnaya if available and neither go. Bush if neither go and Og is taken.

Ok, so here is my dilemma. Need 3 RBs, here are my options:

Forte vs Eagles
Bradshaw vs Pats
M Bush vs Broncos
Torain vs 49ers
Jacobs vs Pats

If Bradshaw plays, pretty set with Forte/Bradshaw/Bush. If he doesn't play, is Jacobs or Torain the better play?

Also, Denarius Moore (@Den) or Torrey Smith (@Pit) as my last WR?

I think you have to go Jacobs. He will get the carries, especially ar the goal line. The Redskin O is terrible right now. You have to stay away I would think barring more injuries. I would also go Smith over Moore.

Ahmad is doubtful. I would play Jacobs over Torain. The Skins are done.

Torrey Smith, I guess. At least you get some Sunday night game action.

Andre has been ruled out. Ahmad doubtful. Ogbonnaya is taken. Looks like it's Reggie!

I will never play a Shanahan RB ever again. Do not play Torain. I repeat...do not play Torain. Plus he's playing SF and their rideaculous run D. Jacobs is a safe play on Sunday in what should turn out to be a high scoring affair. He will get some goal line work, but I have a feeling NY brass ain't too happy with him, and expect to see Ware share touches.

I would also play Smith over Moore. Flacco will be in shotgun most of the game and Smith is always good to beat his coverage for one deep pass. Problem is Flacco usually can't get it to him.

My 2nd RB position in a 12 team league absolutely sucks: have played Ingram, Torain, R. Bush, Hardesty(Hillis' 1st game out), Ridley of NE after his big week. They have given me 21 points through 8 games. Ray Rice gave me 27 last week. Torain and Ingram are still on my squad (Ingram did give me 10 on Rice's bye week). Torain is projected to do better than anyone on my waiver wire($5 a transaction). Also picked up Jacobs the week before he got hurt. Argh!

With DaDeacs, I would def go Forte/M Bush/ and either Bradshaw/Jacobs once you hear more about Bradshaw.

jeez my RBs are killing me, a ton of them are hurt. 1 RB, 1 Flex. Pick out of: Battle vs Mia, Jones vs Indy, Lynch vs Dallas, Nelson vs SD

another league: pick a flex & WR out of Benson vs Tenn, White vs Indy, Thomas vs KC, Decker vs Oak (and I have Doucet and Ringer, but not good playing options)

This is a very good rule to live by. Belichek is almost as bad re roles and sporadic output. I avoid them both like the plague.
