Had a very vivid dream this week about a pending job offer, but when I asked about salary and benefits, the answer was that they would cover all of that the first week of employment.
 
Finally decided to upgrade my home theater setup-- for the last 6 years I've had a basic soundbar+subwoofer combo (a decently reviewed one, but on the cheap side). I bought a pair of Klipsch bookshelf speakers a couple of years ago but at the time I decided to just have them route to my turntable, and the receiver I got was specialized for music, so it didn't even have any TV input or even video passthrough. It's nice, but years later it feels like a waste to have these dope speakers I'm only using for phono input and the occasional Bluetooth stream. So I pulled the trigger on a Klipsch center speaker and subwoofer, and a fancy-ish AV receiver to handle it all. I am v v v v pumped.

I watch a lot of things after the kids go to bed and I have to have closed captioning on so I kinda hate you right now.

Love Klipsch speakers. Still using the ones I got back in the late 90s.

I have this same fucking dream, frequently.

I also have frequently reoccurring sleep paralysis, which fucking sucks but it happens so often I can usually roll with it and its not awful.

Monday night tho.... Ohhhhhhh boy. Had an episode that seemed to last forever, and included VIVID hullicinations of two demonic entities in my room. One that was doing the classic sit on your chest and pinned me to the bed.

I was terrified to go to bed last night.
 
Eating Cracker Barrel this morning because my kids DIDNT want Daniel Boone inn. 🤬
 
I had a dream the other night about needing to buy my son a dope protractor and that shit kept me up in bed for a solid half hour afterwards because I couldn't remember the word "protractor"

I told mrs rsf the next morning that we were going to get him a really nice protractor, a round one that would make all of his friends jealous, and she rightfully looked at me like I was fucking insane

I get irrationally ticked off when I grab the iPad to watch while treadmilling and the freaking captions come on the screen. It's a real hump trying to get those turned off when I'm trying not to have a funky gait as it is. If you're gonna use captions and someone is going to be on that device next, turn them off when you're done. Thank you for listening, mako, since my wife won't.

Best thing to use to watch TV after the kids go to bed is earbuds connected to your phone and doing private listening through the roku app

Couple of Winston spots up for Beard Awards. Never heard of Heff’s Burger Club but it’s on the best new restaurant list. And the Sweet Potatoes chef for Best Chef Southeast.
