at least whatever birds these u of c donks had at this one apartment I visited -- just molting everywhere and such colorless things -- as a birder, it makes me sad
 
I had a ferret named Sadie when I was at Wake, she had the ass surgery but everybody said she smelled bad. I didn’t care, she was awesome.
 
To be fair to myself I have been near multiple ferrets since college ( pet stores and what not) and I still have never noticed their smell
 
My wife had Guinea pigs she loved when she was little but she is dead set against getting them now that we have kids

my dad said there used to be a Sears or something in downtown W-S when he was a kid and they had some pet skunks in the store
 
a few weeks ago my son's car (which is a total POS that I can't wait to be rid of) abruptly died in the HT parking lot. We couldn't get it jumped so towed it to the shop, where they discovered that one of the battery wires had simply broken (due to old age they said - i have no idea how this happens.) They fixed it, then abruptly today he had the same issue. He and a friend popped the hood and found that the new cable had somehow had a similar issue.....so they took some pliers and duct tape and "fixed" it. He was very proud of this.

I was like, dude, that's a fire waiting to happen and the shop needs to FIX that. But I also reiterated that i'm kind of impressed with these kids that they were able to fix it, even in a really ridiculous way.
 
Hahaha I showed my stylist what I wanted and she just straight up told me no. I was like “no seriously this is what I want” and she said “then go get someone else to cut your hair because that will not look good on you”. So I got a slight variation of my normal haircut

Spotted a Cardinal in the back yard today. Just passing through? Are chances high those little house sparrow fucks are gonna chase it away?

I like a stylist who will tell you when something is a bad idea for your face shape etc.

You can probably get a Supreme Court case if you claim she refused to give you a real American haircut and demanded to give you a "woke" haircut instead. She's already technically a groomer anyway.
