I told my wife that the in-laws weren’t allowed back in our house until they apologized for the shit they pulled when the kids were born. It’s been about 17 months.

i recommended olive oil in coffee to a friend/colleague this morning and she agreed it's good

this would be us. although my in-laws have not been in our house since our son was an infant (because of our cats). MIL stayed with us a couple of times when we brought him home but she bravely put up with the fact we have two cats for that time alone.
 
New mattress getting delivered today. Fingers crossed that this ends up being a winner because my sleep has been all kinds of fucked.
 
i've been messing around on the tok a bit more and it defs has me pigeonholed as an enjoyer of horror content

but the stuff on there is really lowest common denominator stuff. there's bad clips from paranormal investigator shows (some produced and some like YT level content). there's compilations of "things that happened this week" which tried to convince me that there were an unusual amount of earthquakes before the events in Turkey. there's the doppelganger meme that's hot right now.

the only good stuff on horrortok seems to be unusual ways to die but I've already heard/read most of that stuff

but last night I did learn about the Byford Dolphin accident where four dudes in a diving bell in the North Sea basically had their bodies explode from accidental explosive depressurization
 
My MIL is a lot. She has opinions on everything (but thankfully not political) and I’m pretty sure she has hearing damage from decades working as an iron worker which results in her yelling everything. But she was a massive help over the last year and lived with us for probably 8 months over the last 12.

My FIL died before I met my wife. Either and OD or his roommate killed him. Police did not seem too bothered to figure out which.

maybe I will try this in ITALY this year. we'll be there in time for the new olive oil of the season so the freshest Olio for our Cafe.
