Got hosed on multiple significant calls, left a dozen runners on base, still got the dub in a total team win with late clutch plays. Can’t ask for more.

I will also say that I hope Cecere is back very soon. On the flip side, I think Gio has been doing great. His defense makes up for any offensive woes and he can still hit. He’s just getting his feet wet.

Keener is really good. Such a luxury to have a pitcher with his talent as a long man out of the pen. Most teams lose that game after the starter comes out; and a mediocre reliever gives up a couple of runs. Instead, the Deacs can rely on a long reliever who would be a weekend starter for almost any other team in the country.
