56 and pissing at Merlefest. Not selling a lot of pintos right now.

IIRC, I wore a white tux with the weird button thing for my senior prom.

Not exactly rummaging through the boxes in the attic to find that pic, though.

I remember back in elementary school I would look for kids in my class that didn't have any money to buy books at the Scholastic book fair. Then I'd pull them aside and buy them whatever book they wanted.

And then I'd read it to myself right in front of them, tell them how great it was, then light it on fire and give them the ashes.

Fucking poors.

At my 2nd grade book fair, they had uncut sheets of Topps baseball cards for 5 cents each. I picked out 5 and one of them included Cal Ripken's rookie card. Like a genius, I used some dull safety scissors to cut these cards to roughly the correct shape.
as a kid i was into cards, used to go to shows and stuff

had an athlete from the big three sports that I focused on: Tim Duncan, Torry Holt, and Cal Ripken Jr.

so far I have heard back from 3 applications, and they have all turned out to be commission-only sales positions that provided a ridiculous wide salary range.

Hang in there. I had at least 15 interviews and it took 75 days for me to find a job after being fired. Keep grinding. Apply for everything and just get a gig. Then once you have that gig…keep applying until you find the job you want.

75 days. I took a job I knew I wasn’t going to love but did my best at it while still applying for 4 months. Monday I start a new job that I am legit excited about.

There is light at the end MDMH. You’re going to be fine.

Is it really necessary to put the full address of the last 9 places i've worked for a job application? Who is using this information, and why don't they have google?

but Garfield minus Garfield isn't Garfield
To me it highlights the Garfield's we all deal with without providing an avatar. In that sense I feel Garfield minus Garfield is actually more Garfield.
