Totally Unofficial 2022/23 Premier League Thread

It’s a pin, so that any time he feels like approaching the 4th official he pushes it into his chest for a sharp pain to prevent him from going.

Mbuemo and Toney are tough in general, but they have VVD and big Ibou’s number at least as much as anyone else in the league.

What gripe does Fabinho think he has there? He put his heel studs in Toney’s stomach.

I know im being annoying saying something like this but Everton would have a man sent off by now if they were putting in these challenges

Taylor only calls fouls for Brentford once they cross the halfway line, to maximize my anxiety.

Complete inability from anyone in this squad to calm it down and take the air out. I guess it makes it exciting.

Stop cheating then
Liverpool has definitely played into Brentford’s hands, as has Taylor, but hey, it works for them and it’s been more their match this half for sure.

And now Milner who will 100% be a second late to something and give away a terrible free kick.

Hitting the deck, every time, all match.

Best Liverpool have defended set pieces all year though. To this point anyway (no jinx).

Prob among the worst Brentford have executed them, as well, tbf.

Whew boy. Man, Brentford are a handful. Can play a few different ways, but that’s how Frank sets up against Liverpool and they commit and do it well. Big Toney fan, and they put you under so much pressure with the set pieces/throws/corners and can kill you on the break. Just not the best matchup for Liverpool for some reason.

Three left, two away to Leicester and So’ton, which aren’t the most intimidating places, though Liverpool have been terrible away this year and Leicester, at least, should theoretically be fighting for their life, so yeah. Glad the Villa match is at home.

Don’t think United slip up enough, but all they can do is keep up the pressure. Encouraged a little by the performances, but more by the fight.
