Conference Expansion: Stanford, California and SMU Join the ACC

DR, you are a nobody. You haven’t tried a case in years. You had a chance to be somebody in the law, but you blew it by never being in your office and running from trials. No elite NC lawyers respect you. Even your partners think you are a joke as they work their asses off while you travel the US by yourself counting basketball arenas and golf courses you have visited. And you are a nothing at WFU. You give $5k to the Deacon club and act like you are connected to the real WF donors and fans. And the image you try to portray as an owner of hotels and real estate is hilarious. You are a slum lord in Greensboro and own one brick of a hotel in Clemson, SC. Your condo in NMB isn’t worth $150k. So like I said, fuck you.

"by yourself" is the saddest part.

I have 40 others in Myrtle beach worth way less than 150K! Get your facts straight!

It’s ranked #22
Which would make it tier 2, right?

I mean law firms will travel from far and wide to interview kids from schools like Stanford, Columbia, Michigan, UVa, Northwestern, Chicago, etc. - sort of a Top 10 that really is probably 15 schools.

The big NYC / Silicon Valley firms aren't going out of their way to interview at Wisconsin or Wake. And who really cares. Where you go to law school doesn't do much more than determine places you might start out of law school. So if you didn't want to work at Wachtel anyway, it doesn't matter. Once you have a job all that matters is how you do at your job.

Ohio State playing the likes of Georgia, Michigan and Notre Dame every week without pausing to face the likes of Indiana and Illinois would drive a ton more revenue to their coffers.
Coaches, athletic directors and many alumni at the perennial powers don't want to see the best teams playing each other every week. Top college teams like having guaranteed wins against weaker but still respectable teams with a couple big games per season against other really strong teams.

Ya but what you have to realize is that T14 is Tier 1. So after that would be Tier 2. It’s just how it works, after 1 comes 2.
Depends on what tier system you are using. US News lists WF law as tier 1. WF isn’t an elite law school, but it has always been well thought of. It’s certainly not trash.

Facts.

Lawyers at dead guy law firms are broke anyway. Go win and help people. Then you can buy the dead firm womble guys. The hungry dog eats.

Just look at Danny Manning v Steve Forbes. Massive difference in pedigree. But the hunger is what matters.

Which is why the SEC has just added Texas and Oklahoma and the B1G has added Oregon and Washington and USC. Again, it's all about the money.
