Do they have raw numbers around out of state applications? I assume they get a ton. But yeah it’s insanely hard to get accepted.

The overall UNC acceptance rate was 16.8 percent – 43.1 percent for North Carolina applicants and 8.2 percent for out-of-state applicants. In-state students make up 82% of the student body and the state government has set a hard cap of 18% non-residents. I assume that includes athletes.

I don't. There will still be plenty of rich kids who can't get into Ivies, Duke, Stanford, Vandy, etc.

Now the lower quality schools in states without population growth are 100% going to suffer bigly.
