I'm an Ole Miss guy too but that doesn't mean I pretend Cary Middlecoff was on par with Jack Nicklaus--even though Middlecoff's numbers were much closer to Palmer than Palmer ever was to Nicklaus.

Palmer made way the fuck more endorsement dollars than any of those schmucks except Tiger. The numbers are what they are.

Dave Clawson is extremely underrated. I suspect most college football fans, even die-hards, couldn’t recognize him if he walked into a room with them. But he keeps leading Wake Forest to seasons with eight or more wins. The godfather of the Slow Mesh did it again last year, and that was his fourth time at a place that has won eight-plus games only five other times since World War II. The year before, he led Wake to an 11-3 season and a No. 14 finish, the best in school history.

Palmer had 7. Contended in many, many more. Dominated golf for 8 years. Is in second tier of majors, but is the King of golf. Period.

I, again, think this argument is overall dumb but that this point is illogical. Being #27 (not 29) as an undergrad first school when most of this is based on grad program rankings is phenomenal. It is also #27 out of thousands. On the flip side, the law school is being ranked against schools doing the exact same thing and it’s only out of ~100.

And DR sucks even more than you two: a Dookie who gives no money to WF and thinks he’s smarter than everyone who ever attended WF. I’m a double deacon and take pride in both degrees/schools. But the law school jumped the undergrad for the first time. 22 and 29. And there are literally hundreds of law schools now. Even High Point and Elon have one. If you can pay $45k a year, you can make a 2.0 at ECU and get into a law school. Such as Elon.
