Who should start at Quarterback against Virginia Tech?

Who should be the starting Quarterback in two weeks against Clemson?

So the record for most sacks in a single game was by the University of Arizona against Oregon in 1978, where the Arizona defense sacked the QB 11 times. That Oregon team went 2-9.

Depending on who starts in two weeks against Clemson, I think this team can become part of history as well.

Why does Mitch need to perform poorly again for Kern to get a chance? I'm guessing we are the only FBS school that continues to play a QB with 6 ints and however many fumbles and sacks (against bad teams I might note) that clearly cost the team a game and should have cost us another. Kern to start no doubt.
I think the reasoning is that Mitch has two weeks to pause, breathe and fix the mistakes. The staff saw something in Mitch that gave him the initial leg up and wants to see if he can respond and fix his issues. I’m sure Kern is also getting 1st team reps in practice during these two weeks, so Mitch is on a short leash. During the regular season, much of the limited practice time is focused on game prep, not development. The two weeks give Mitch a week of development, working on timing, moving in the pocket, etc. before having to switch to game prep. If he shows the same problems after that time, I’m sure we’ll see Kern sooner rather than later.

Wake will run for 300+ yards and spank that ass. Maybe not but that’s what I’m hoping for.

In all seriousness I’m a little unsure after hearing Clawson post game conference. They have an extra week and I can’t imagine what he is going to come up with.

My only trip was the 2OT bullshit pass interference game.
I'm angry just thinking about that garbage.

Would like to see Mitch first series run-focused and Kern second series pass-focused.

Nobody is more popular than the backup QB. That said, I also picked Kern. Griffis will start, mainly because Clawson and camp have seen everything the QBs have to offer and they think he's the best. Plus it's at Clemson. I don't have a strong opinion. I don't think next year's QB1 is on the roster right now.

Damn. We sacked the ODU QB 10 times a couple weeks ago. Didn't know we just needed one more!
