Florida State Game Time

Mitch broke a finger nail at halftime and will not be finishing the game.

It's just crazy that the assumption is that Marucci will turn it all around.

Yes, 100% he should be given the opportunity....he should have been much earlier than today.

But it seems like the attitude here from some is that "OMG, If we had just put Marucci in, or if Marucci had started, we could be in this game!!!"....its possible, but some are judging Clawson as a coach and his future as this team's coach based on one QB.

None of this is to argue that Mitch should have seen the field in any of this game or the last 2. But the theory that there is an answer SOMEWHERE and Clawson should be fired because he won't find it is just purely idiotic. Sometimes there ISN'T an immediate answer.

Sometimes there ISN'T a QB on a team that can win games. Yes that's on Coach too, but anyone saying he should resign today or that we should think about firing him are just pathetic fans.

Seemed like at some point Clawson set the bar for Griffis as "not turning the ball over" (that's when he was pulled at VT). What good is that if you can't complete a pass and score maybe one touchdown every six quarters?

Mitch is 1 for 8 with 5 sacks. He holds the ball too long. Maybe it's because of his height, or maybe he has no internal clock.

Nobody is saying we would be winning if the Cooch was playing. Everyone is saying we are tired of watching Mitch suck!!

My tv is off. I would consider turning it back on if we change QBs

As I’ve said before he doesn’t do a single thing well! Not one!!!

No one is saying that. People are upset that despite everyone knowing Griffis is terrible, he was put out there again to start.

According to several different statistics, Griffis is the worst QB in D1, yet our staff keep putting him out there. This is what is upsetting. No one is saying Santino would win this game, but people are asking why is the worst QB in the NCAA still playing?

The most important position in the entire program is vital to get right. Clawson has gotten it spectacularly wrong. This has wrecked our season, may cost us our bowl streak, and is going to affect recruiting and the portal. It’s going to undo a lot of the work that we all agreed he had done.

The situation is worse than you’re willing to acknowledge.

We’re not pathetic fans. Quite the opposite; we want to win.

I’m not calling for Clawson’s firing, but there is some measure of accountability between that and absolutely nothing. And he faces absolutely no accountability, and these are the results.

You do realize that anything is better than a guy that literally has an problem actually throwing the ball within 10 seconds. It's actually reckless to play a kid that clearly has some issues in his head after the snap....playing the wildcat the entire game would have been far more logical than playing Griffis.
