I mean he’s got to catch that. And kind of did.Why are we throwing lollipop back shoulder fades on 3rd and 5?
It was there. Morin had it and dropped it. On third down. Again. Why are we throwing lollipop back shoulder fades on 3rd and 5?
Well, pretty much every play is low-probability for us. How do you distinguish one from another? Why are we throwing lollipop back shoulder fades on 3rd and 5?
Kern does seem to be getting the ball off faster, even if it isn’t resulting in receptions.Even those two awful drives show Kern is clearly better.
Clawson has missed on QBs for years. We were fortunate Newman and Hartman stayed relatively healthy. If Hartman hadn't come back when he did, last season may have been as bad as this season.Scouting on QBs will always be an inexact science, and anyone can miss on 2 in the same season. If there is not at least a light at the end of the tunnel, QBwise, by the end of next season, that is when I consider letting go of Clawson.
Morin landed with the ball and the defender stripped it.Watch the play again. Morin expected (LOL) to be hit in stride. Instead he has to lunge BACKWARD into the defender, who easily swats it away. On Kern, not Morin.
