Official 2023 College Football Thread: Michigan Recognized as National Champions of Cheating !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Legit done with college football other than Wake games at this point. I was already phasing that way but I can’t take the Big 10/SEC love anymore.

My prediction:

1. Michigan
2. Washington
3. Texas
4. Bama

Main talking points of the day:

1) Head-to-head matters - Texas beat Bama
2) Quality wins matter - FSU's best win is Bama's 3rd best (LSU), and Bama just beat the #1 ranked team in the country
3) Very difficult decision this year, and we feel terrible for FSU. But this is why the expanded playoff was needed. Yada, yada, yada.

This board has a meltdown about the death of the ACC.
Nailed it. Guess we'll see about the board meltdown part.

4 best teams. I'm all for it. Those are the games I want to see. I don't want to see FSU play aginst any of the other 3...i think it'd be ugly.
I don't think it's particularly fair, though
I mean, no sports do this. The World Series should’ve been Braves/Orioles this year. Why did we even play the other games? Why do we do March Madness? Just put the best recruiting classes in a championship game.

So the committee dropped #1 to #6 for losing by 3. Moved #8 to #4 for winning by 3. Moved #7 to #3 for beating a lesser team and beating Alabama months ago. And moved an undefeated #4 to #5.

Ridiculous.

The craziest part of this is Texas and Alabama probably don’t make it if Georgia wins.
