Official 2023 College Football Thread: Michigan Recognized as National Champions of Cheating !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So the committee dropped #1 to #6 for losing by 3. Moved #8 to #4 for winning by 3. Moved #7 to #3 for beating a lesser team and beating Alabama months ago. And moved an undefeated #4 to #5.

Ridiculous.

The craziest part of this is Texas and Alabama probably doesn’t make it if Georgia wins.
So we definitely shouldn’t care about the rankings even once the CFP ones start.

During the Great FSU Rebellion against the ACC earlier this year, everyone hated FSU more than any other school. Let them leave and good riddance!

Now everyone loves them and sees them as the savior of the ACC? Huh?
I don’t care about FSU. I do hate the Big 10 and SEC. They each have two teams and a pile of shit.

Not me - FSU can eat shit

(Tho it prolly isn’t a fair outcome. Some kid at fucking Northern Alabama changed the course of history)

I mean, no sports do this. The World Series should’ve been Braves/Orioles this year. Why did we even play the other games? Why do we do March Madness? Just put the best recruiting classes in a championship game.
well of course not. Everyone knows a 4 team playoff is wildly broken. This just accentuates it.
The argument shouldn't be the committee got it wrong, it should be that the committe rules of 4 best vs 4 deserving is wrong. I truly believe they got the 4 BEST teams right now... they did NOT get the 4 most deserving.

The games are to decide the best. They decide who deserves to play in those games.

Do they want FSU to rightfully hang a banner after beating Georgia or Oregon in a bowl game?
There is strong push to decline any bowl game. It sucks but I expected it. My Braves and 49ers prepared me well for another moment.

It’s not about the team to me, it’s what is fair imo. If it were a one loss FSU getting in over another undefeated P5 I’d feel the same way.

I hear a lot of hate for Michigan and Bama. Can we please also have some hate for Texas and Washington? :)
