MBB Game 8: Rutgers at WF - Wednesday 6 pm ACCN

Terrible end to the half and great shooting by Rutgers. Im very happy we have Reid but he needs to chill with the outside shooting. We’ve got to play through Boopie Sallis and Carr.

He looks absolutely THRILLED to be there. Not even sure why he's doing this at his age and plenty of $$$ to just play golf.
 
reid has been what we need on defense and the boards and with general physicality.

hate saying anything negative on efton reid day and im sure he dealing with some nerves, etc. but he doesn’t need to be taking so many shots. i think just playing the marsh role (maybe with the additional benefit of spacing the floor) would be ideal for now.

but i can also understand wanting to get him the ball in his first game back.
 
Really bad down stretch. 29-11 after Keller 3. Just figured that they’d get hot
 
Disappointing end to the half. Rutgers is constantly fouling much of which does not get called. We have to return that aggressiveness when we are on defense and then attack the basket on offense. We have better basketball players…they are trying to turn it into a street fight. What a shit school…their basketball team represents it well
 
Starters return and an 18 point Deacon lead evaporates to a 6 point halftime lead. Rutgers started hitting shots and the Deacs quit pressing on D. The result was an18-8 Rutgers run to end the half. Reid needs to look to the perimeter when well defended in the post. Forcing shots is not required.

Yeah, I don’t like the over the top PA guys….Carrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr for 3!!!!! Just like the over the top radio guys. Listening to some these radio guys from different schools is awful, like they wet their pants every time their team does anything. I always liked Stan’s cool and calm delivery, shows just the right amount of excitement at the right time.
