He's going to end up at Oregon or somewhere for more money than Wake could offer, as he should. That offense is well suited for his skill set. The slow mesh is not, primarily because he's too short to run it.
 
So what’s the deal with the Ohio QB who threw 25 TDs in 2022 but only 11 in 2023 despite playing the same number of games?
 
Maple Missile - big boy from Canada. He was the MAC POY in 2022. Tore his ACL at the end of 2022 season. Tried to comeback as soon as the 2023 season started. At the end of the 2022 season, Kurtis Roarke was an NFL prospect. He has the size 6-5 231, a gun and can run. The issue now is whether he can get back to 2022 form after his knee injury. If he can, he would be a home run pick up.

 
Yay I guess? Not a splash, but probably good competition for Kern. Is this it at QB or are we looking for 1 more?
 
I admit I liked the idea of a 6-5 guy from Ohio. (then again I may have just wanted someone from Ohio U to come help turn things around again)

could be wrong here, but I feel like it would be unusual to get a 6th year QB transfer commit if they thought we were recruiting over them.
 
Interesting stat, in his first start as a true freshman in 2019 Hank threw for 400yds in a win vs Florida State, which is the only 400 yard game of his career so far.

Depends. It definitely happens for depth pieces at some big programs. This dude doesn’t scream “sure thing starter” where we shouldn’t continue to evaluate other portal talent, but I assume you’re right and we’re done. Wonder how much we’re paying him?
