Like Babydeac said, it is grossly unfair to lump JTT with Ari and Melvin.
 
I never mentioned Melvin at all in this discussion. If you asked Tony, Ari or JTT and they were free to talk what would they say happened.

Huh? Are you implying that there's a gag order on JTT, Ari, and Tony? They can talk. They haven't.

Probably because "their side of the story" is a summation of all the shitty facts we already know. Tony and Ari were not going to stay here. Period. JTT's the weirdest case of the 3, but I'm pretty sure he hasn't talked about it because it would make him seem about as shitty as we suspect.
 
Don't be naive, players keep their mouth shut because that is what their new coach requires of them.

I have no connection to anyone, the point is we have a narritive on these guys and it is one sided and limited at best. The players will likely stay quiet because the coaches are all in the same frat so to speak.

BKF, for one. There have certainly been others who talked shit about all 3 of our early entry candidates to try and deflect criticism of the current coach.
 
So in a nut shell, you don't know the former players, the coaching staff, their current teammates or anything that they are or have been thinking. As TITS WF said, Ari hasn't been quiet about his thoughts on Bz. Some of the other guys (current and former) like him, respect him and/or can/could play for him and say so. Others (former) can't stand him and don't think he's a good coach and have said so. There isn't a conspiratorial gag rule in effect... or else Ari would have been in trouble long ago.
 
rj claims to know exactly what happened with ari, jtt and melvin. maybe he can tell all of us their side too.

I generally refrain from slamming current or former players personally, but damn what a jackass that kid turned out to be. Just a huge disappointment all around.

First time I've heard this, though I suspected it. Sounds like somebody mismanaged this (in addition to JTT, obviously), and we lost a potential star.
 
An example would be JTT, one day he is our guy tats and all. The next day he has got a serious drinking problem and is seeking help. the next day ,he is playing bball on the west coast, the next day he is going to USC with Ari. Do you really think Wake or Usc wants all those events examined? I don't think so.

Is there anything in basketball, Wake Forest basketball in particular, that rj doesn't proclaim to the be the foremost expert in the world on?
 
I disagree that Bzz did not want to get rid of Ari, JTT, Tabb etc. Bzz brings up last years "attitude problems" at every opportunity, even in 5 minute, face to face conversations with fans. After the first 2 games, I can't say that I disagree with his tactics, because we are a more cohesive team, even with less talent. I don't believe that Ari or JTT we're going to bring us great success, because they both needed too many shots to make an impact, and that's why I'm not sorry to see either of them go. I don't know how Bzz will deal with players that he recruited himself, but I doubt you will see any players on the current roster step out of line this year. After all the negative publicity we've had in the last 2 years, I'd much rather our team stay out of the news, especially being as bad as we are.
