MBB Game 12: ACC Opener - Hokies Visit The Joel - Saturday 2pm - ESPN2

Great game to see in person. Pedulla and Cattoor just getting pwned repeatedly was amazing.

Was really hoping for the Sallis poster on Kidd. Almost got it.

The missed goaltending call on the Carr shot was completely ridiculous. Refs were just totally mailing it in I guess.

Keller provided tremendous defense and effort today. Fantastic contributions from him today.

We didn’t even play that well on offense but the defense just absolutely carried us to a blowout.
 
Great to see the Deacs dominate like that. We get a ton of open looks from three in this offense. Hopefully Damari comes back and we run teams out of the gym. Go Deacs!

My greatest Boston Wake game moment basketball wise (obviously football is clinching the Atlantic two years ago in Boston) was Danny's last year as the clock ran down and BC was dribbling out the win, it was silent and I just shouted "pack your bags Danny you're finished" from like 8 rows behind the Wake bench and several players turned around plus a bunch of BC fans around me who just cackled. Danny didn't turn around :(

Has Hunter going in the First Round pick 11 to Memphis. He was the best player on the floor today. Great game.
 
Guys we played so well that now VT can't be good so we drop in the rankings for a soft schedule.
 
No matter what, at least this sets us up for an exciting conference season after an up-and-down OOC.

We have enough games left against good teams to chase a bid.

Let's go get it.

That was fun! Every starter was at least solid and Sallis was great. Boopie had some great moves in the first half that he didn’t convert into baskets or this would have been an even worse beating. Not a complaint against Boopie. He is awesome! Sometimes shots that you normally make just don’t fall. I will say that Efton’s post moves are…methodical. Definitely can’t toss it down to him for a post move with the shot clock under 5 seconds.

Boopie kept poking the ball away from Pedulla, Cattoor and Reichmister, and he juked them, they could not guard him, consistently.

You are correct, if he hits those lane shots, we blow them out in half one. They were bodying him on those shots

The only minor disappointment is that a 20 point half time lead never got to 30.
