NFL Year 2023. Kansas City Chiefs Win Super Bowl LVIII. Defeat 49ers in Overtime. 25-22.

Justin Fields looking fantastic today. Showing what could be with him.... I do not envy the Bears this decision with the number 1 pick.

I think I'd build around Fields

I had a long conversation with a Bears fan friend about this. None of the top QBs are a sure thing. But Marvin Harrison, Jr. is about as sure of a sure thing at WR as you can get. Draft him and if Fields still doesn't look good throwing to DJ, Harrison, whoever else, and Kmet then pick up or decline his 5th year option and draft another QB anyway. If he's pretty good, pick up his option and prepare to franchise him. If he looks great, go ahead and extend him. They should not draft another QB this year.

I think I agree with that as well. I mean they're going to have another top 5-7 pick anyway to grab one of the other guys if they want to. I don't know enough about their offensive line needs or other major glaring holes but that would be a reasonable option to me.

Eagles were lucky to keep it that close. Questionable onside kick and a 99-yd pick 6 covered for an awful defensive day. Didn't have James Conner pegged as an unstoppable force.

Bears are still alive for the playoffs. Can that still happen after MIN-GB tonight? Obv SEA has to lose.
