Loves Dicks
I know @mako1331 and @TownieDeac couldn't post their reading lists the past year - it'd be like 30 pages. I'd still like to see if if they have it.
Anyone else have a list of books they read in 2023?
2023
American Psychosis
How to argue with a racist
How to talk so that little kids will listen
Sapiens
The Fountainhead
Fire and Fury
Being mortal
Demon Copperhead
Once an Eagle
Leaders eat last
Coddling of the American mind
Good to great
The five love languages (reread)
Into thin air
The magic of tidying up Marie Kondo
My favorites in that list were: The Coddling of the American Mind (probs the second most important book I've ever read), Being Mortal (everyone who has parents should read this book), Demon Copperhead, and Once an Eagle.
Some of those books weren't great. Leaders Eat Last felt reductive and just kinda reiterated a lot of pop ideas. Sapiens was one of the worst books I've ever read, and the science behind it is suspect at best.
