I think it's more important to find a good GM. It doesn't matter how good a HC is if you consistently have 1 of the 2 or 3 worst rosters in the league. And that's where the Panthers are, and they're in danger of turning Young into David Carr.
I think the prospective hires will talk to current and past folks in the Panthers organization and find that Tepper really isn't that bad in terms of meddling and that he's not bad to work for. He wants to win but he's clueless as hell. But what Tepper does have working against him is a slippery trigger finger, but given he will pay $$ with above average length contracts definitely helps.
Why do so many of your posts about what this team does come off as lectures to us posters? No one here, save maybe guitar, has any influence on this team.

Sorry, don't mean to come off that way. I mean it as a criticism of Tepper, not anyone here. I was just telling you Matteo's background and complaining that that is not the type of FO person that Tepper should be targeting.

I didn’t see issue with your post. Problem is, Tepper thinks he’s a qb away. That’s why he’s leveraged the next decade for one. Shame we could have just drafted a generational talent (per some) this year… gonna be fun watching that from afar.
It takes just as much time to interview a Black person as it does a White person.
