Recommend good stuff you've seen on Netflix streaming

Was The Curse ending just weird Nathan Fielder or really weird even for him? Was it weirder than The Rehearsal?

it's a scripted show.... so the ending is more like a david lynch-vibe than the typical social awkwardness of nathan's other show

i thought it was great

I certainly thought the end of The Rehearsal was scripted.

Finished Peaky Blinders last night. Wife and I went through the entire series (6 seasons of 6 episodes) in about a month. Good stuff. Looking forward to the movie (next year?).

Starting the "new" season of Fargo this week before cleaning up some other stuff we've missed over the last year or so.

Have never watched an Anime show before but got talked into watching Attack on Titan and man this is one of the better shows I've seen period.

I enjoyed this past season of Fargo, maybe more than any previous season. Some great characters.

Anybody else watched the first two eps of Masters of the Air yet? I found it pretty solid, but the kid who played Elvis still looks too much like Elvis. They made his hair lighter, and that's it.

It really shows what a shitburger that gig was though. It was a constant crapshoot whether or not you would cheat death. Amazing, really. I think they do a good job of showing the layout in those planes, the discomfort, all the other ways you could hurt yourself other than getting shot, as well as the routine, the training, and how clunky those things really were.

My grandfather flew in WW2, but he flew P-38s and not the big forts-- bombed the shit out of the bad guys in Africa and the Mediterranean, then oddly enough died in a plane crash while stateside with a bunch of other folks when the engines conked out after takeoff (a design flaw that was fixed as a result of the accident). There was actually one guy who survived and was from W-S of all places.

Watched the Waco Apocalypse thing on Netflix. I swear they had a different one that I watched last year, but this one was better.

Of course I remember all that stuff when it went down, but never bothered myself with all the details. What a clusterfuck. While I have little sympathy for Koresh, it's clear the ATF should've called off the raid when they knew they were compromised. And after that failure, the FBI was just a disaster in its clashes with negotiators.

Heaven's Gate: The Cult of Cults (4 episode documentary) on [HBO] Max was an interesting and thoughtful presentation of cults, through the Heaven's Gate retelling. It was released in 2020.

Don't know if it's been mentioned, but Marc Blucas is in the latest Vince Vaughn addition on Netflix: Brawl in Cell Block 99.

Pretty good, actually.

He's also in My Life with the Walter Boys which is terrible, even for someone not paying attention, but being in the same room when it's on.

Conversely, Daisy Jones & The Six is a great show to have on in the background and not be fully engaged.

(a lot of the tv I watch is through osmosis)

Get out of here with this slander. It’s not as good as The Summer I Turned Pretty but still quality trash TV watch.

Some piece on BBC website today included a brief mention of "The Sinner", which appears to be on Netflix.

If you've watched...any good?
