MBB Game 25: @UVA - Saturday Noon - ESPN2

Carr has passed up several open 3s. He and sallis need to be more aggressive in the 2nd half so cam and boopie can stop having to be aggressive and turning the ball over or taking bad shots.

Confused at why he is all worked up… hope this doesn’t spark their offense to close the half. Hope we can make two FTs.

Staying on the refs to make sure they keep screwing Wake and don't call obvious hacks on UVA.

It's beyond frustrating. He puts on a dribbling clinic then air balls a fadeaway, or gets rejected and then immediately whines about being fouled.
 
Cam and Boopie both need to continue driving into the lane. They’re picking up their dribble and making forced passes too early, but there’s an opening. And Reid and Carr, especially Carr, need to help clear the way or pin their guy and look for a pass. Keep going right at them in the paint.

yes, but that’s pretty much our whole team (i actually would say the four players with the best vision/awareness on offense are pfred, monsanto, carr and maybe reid - not ideal that those guys don’t have the ball often)

i think we get away with it against mediocre competition but it doesn’t work against good teams.
 
If you get a tech and it leads to the opponent shooting their first FTs with just over 3 min left in the 1st half, you're probably full of shit.
 
Feel like Forbes should pull Reid last two minutes. You know refs are looking for fouls.

Wow, 2-9 from three with three really bad misses, but really encouraged by Wake’s defense.
