Rhett Lowder made his Reds debut today and pitched well: 1 IP 1H 0R 2Ks. FWIW, Lowder's outing came against the Brewers and Wilken is playing for the Brewers, but Lowder did not face him. There is a solid chance that they may match up later this Spring. The Reds and Brewers Spring training facilities are only 17 miles apart; so, is easy for those two to hang together.

He served as the Pitching Lab Coordinator and Director of Player Development at Wake Forest University from 2021-23, and prior to that, he was the Associate Head Coach, Pitching Coach, and Recruiting Coordinator at Skidmore College from 2017-20.

Looking a little ahead to our first ACC series, Duke is looking like a challenger to the ACC title. They have a high probability of still being being undefeated when they roll into WS. They destroyed P5/6 Northwestern 20-6, sweeping the series. They have another 3 game series this weekend in common opponent, Akron. I think if we win the series, this may be a sign of good things to come.

I don’t disagree with anything you said here, but let’s also remember that the Big 10 is not a power conference in baseball. The Big South is even better than they are.
