The city of Asheville puts on an annual thing where kids can come out and climb in all their trucks. Fire, garbage, street sweeper, police, ambulance, etc. I wonder if the PD has ever used their SWAT or bomb squad trucks in action. Pretty fun day for a truck-obsessed 4-yo.

Oh shit, sorry. It was this time last year too. The Junior League also puts on a similar Touch a Truck event in October at the same spot in the outlets parking lot. Costs like $5 each since it’s a fundraiser. The past two years they’ve had a medical helicopter which is p cool to see.
