Beat #1 seed El Paso in Conference Semis, did a smart move on switching up some positions. Next matchup is Fort Worth, never beaten him before. He has a 6'10 SG, so I am putting Ruis there to try and counter that. Dont even care what happens, just hoping for the best, would love to sneak into the NTT. LETS FREAKING GO!

Frankfort beat Grand Rapids by 20. Waterloo next for the championship.

The best news for me is that the website by IP is not blocked at work any more! w00t!

Dearborn S68 - Just Win Baby!

yes, we were able to take down a mediocre 6-10 South Bend team to get to the C15 tournament championship game to play 12-5 (55) Green Bay Superfly! i truly don't remember the last time i did not make the championship game and i thought this was the season for that trend to get lost...not so fast! so far this season Green Bay and Dearborn have split the season, the last a 71-70 loss in game 14...which i thought would keep me out of the NTT.

the key to the game? George Flowers, the Green Bay SR PF, who has averaged 18ppg, 7rbs and 3.5 D in the two matches. right now, FR Christian James will have to man-up! i moved Christian back into the starting lineup after benching him earlier in the season...he has been solid in the last 3 games but not near the scoring threat that i envisioned when my recruitment of Christian heated up last season. i mean, he was a 20/8 guy in H.S.!

like i said before, i need the W to get to the NTT - Just win baby!

Cincy gets relegated - lost by 16 to Milwaukee in a game that wasn't even that close.

Hoping to get a high seed in the lesser tourney to get a couple of more wins and finish with 15 or so wins.

The Pittsburgh Stealers (13-4) will be moving onto the C3 championship game after a thrilling 62-44 victory in the semis. Our power ranking Jumped from 81 to 80 with the victory. The final game will be against the 112th ranked team from Lancaster. The teams split the season series.

NTT Birth Hunt Continues..

Congrats to Dearborn, Pittsburgh & Odessa on reaching the conference championship game. Get it done tonight.

Here is a look at the NTT situation.

Of the 32 conferences, there are 16 title matches that have the #1 and #2 teams or 2 teams in the top 50 RPI facing off. Both should make the tournament in theory. - 32 slots

4 conference titles will have both teams above PR 50 facing off for a seed in the NTT. - 4 slots

4 regular season champions are no longer playing in their conference tournament. Aberdeen PR70, Nashville PR 18, Akron PR 20, El Paso PR 28 - 4 slots

This is where it gets interesting.

12 conference titles will have 1 team above PR 50 facing off against a sub 50 PR team or the #1 seed. - 12 slots (min)

At this point, we know there will be 52 invites already with the possibility of more should any of these 12 games be upsets. While we can expect most of these to go in favor of teams such as Philadelphia and Boca there inevitably always is a couple of upsets.

This leaves 12 slots up for grabs for teams that are not currently playing in the conference final. Good luck to everyone on the bubble!

I feel like I have to beat Chicago tonight to get a spot. Two bad upsets killed me and Chicago definitely has a better team although he had a bad upset on Wednesday too. I really need to boost my win for an edge in recruiting.

Good luck tonight Ph!

I have a question when it comes to the win rating in recruiting. Does that pertain solely to the amount of wins you have regardless of the quality of your team? For example, I have 13 wins due to a piece of cake schedule. Would that be better than a team with 10 wins in a much better conference? Or is that taken into account? Thanks

Win pref is solely based off of your PR, your last years PR and your 2 years ago PR. Something like 55% current PR/35% Last year PR/10% 2 years ago PR. Hope that makes sense.

Boca won it's 5th straight conference 13 title tonight and landed as a 3 seed in the NTT.

The NTT has the following Deacons:

North West:
Frankfort #1
Boca Raton #3

South West
Pittsburgh #16
Dearborn #14

North East
Nashville #4
Duluth #15

South East
Chicago #3
Flagstaff #2

This is an interesting draw for DeACCon coaches and looks to have a great shot of us getting representation in the Final Four.

Flagstaff got a big win over Santa Fe to wrap up another perfect C32 campaign. I played my guys in a SubMore starters SubLess bench and it payed off. May do a little more of that in the NTT since I have such great depth. Like my NTT draw until I could have to play ntn and his team if that happens. Then I could potentially have Philly as my 1 seed in the Elite Eight. Hopefully I can take out my simsports aggression for losing as a 1 seed to a 16 in L15 with my Flagstaff team. Should be a great opportunity to showoff the deacon teams on the National Level. Good luck to all.

Lost to Ft Worth in Conf championship finals. Dont really care, i hate that guy i can't ever beat him. Not to mention I hate my conference, and the fact that I have 3-4 teams that consistently bring in a top 25 class, near impossible to compete with that...they win like ever tie

PTT- 7th seed. Don't expect to go past second round, lets hope for a good reveal

(as you can tell, frustrated)

Frankfort won the C18 championship with a 20 pt win over Waterloo. NTT 1 seed in NW with Boca, and abandoned Akron (kytihu) and Colorado Springs (dodgerlax - nc state). Youngstown (Deac) is the NW 6 seed. Glad to be away from Dearborn and Duluth who should be better than their records, and could get it together for a deep run.

I usually do the DeACCon Invitiational after game 19, but let's get a head start this season:

Current Power Ranking: 1
Last Yr Power Ranking: 2
2nd Prior Power Rank: 1

Odessa #197

Current: 90
Last Yr: 59
2nd year prior: 53

hope I can get a good class and step it up next year, i hate having a down year

Frankfort crushed cpu coached Seattle 113-72. Bernard Tuttle with the sickest stat line I've seen in a while: 13/15 FG, 3/3 3FG, 3/3 FT, 6 reb, 1 ast, 2 blks, 32 pts (on 15 shots). Not bad for a SF. The team shot 41-60 FG (68%). Abandoned Akron (kytihu) next.

Thanks for quoting predecessors in the DeACCon, Storm. Makes it easier to keep up with.

Well Flagstaff got a little tougher first round game than I had hoped for but we pulled out a 101-88 victory. Had a 12 point lead at the half and really couldn't extend it in the second half. I actually got out played by his starters for the most part but my bench pulled me through. POG was Eric Sullivan with 22 points with 2 assist 2 boards and a steal. Freshman Paul Livingston played great off the bench with 12 and 9. Up next is another solid squad from Norman. Didn't expect to be playing a 18-1 team in the second round.....
Need a big game from Rene Naquin against senior Jerry Edwards. Congrats to all the coaches that advanced and are still in the NTT and those of you still playing in any other tournys.
