Man Philly was just to dang good for Flagstaff tonight. No shame in losing to that team, it's like losing to Frankfort haha. Flagstaff dropped it's Elite Eight game to Philadelphia by a score of 63-74. Will Chandler was the difference in the game, scoring 19 points and grabbing 7 boards. I was afraid Dennis Cruickshank would have his hands full and he did. Dennis only had 4 points and 4 boards on 2-8 shooting. I ended up switching Eric Sullivan to SG and Gene Macklin to PG to get Sullivan away from Neal and it worked pretty well. Unfortunately Phillys SG is equally a good defender and he held Sullivan to 7-17 shooting. Superstars Rene Naquin and Otto Davidson pretty much played to a stalemate, which fits what I saw with Naquin in scrimmages against elite competition. I had a slight edge at the 5 spot but it wasn't enough. Might have gotten the short end of the stick from the refs. Philly shot 17/22 from the line while Flagstaff went 5/6 with none of our starters even attempting a free throw. Oh well, it was a good run. In the end I just didn't have the offensive firepower against an elite team such as Philly Good luck the rest of the way to everyone else still alive in the NTT.

Great game again

All of us are at this point, except for Awaken. Take the opportunity to play your non-senior players and get a feel for how they play in different combinations and/or positions.

I don't even have that, since I was sort of just planning on playing 3v12 next year.

Does anyone know of a link where I can cut these assholes?

yeah... I've completely flaked on this also... I missed a couple weeks of recruiting this season, so I'm in pretty bad shape. I've got some CLs, so I'll get players, but I don't know how playable they will be. Serves me right, I guess. Just need to take care of my recruiting right away, rather than put it off for later in the week.

Frankfort beat Memphis 96-63 to meet defending champ Philadelphia in the NTT Finals! Tuttle and Lott were the 1-2 punch again (22 pts and 25 pts, resp), and the bench outscored the Globetrotters 35-6. Nice thing about this team is they find out who has the hot hand, and keep feeding them.

Friday's game for the title should be epic. Philly has a balanced scoring attack with all starters averaging double digits. Their main scorers are Chandler and Davidson at SF and PF, just like Frankfort. Inserting Chandler in the lineup mid-year gave Philly a lift. As in the Boca game, Frankfort has a height advantage at those positions. Tuttle-Hutchings was a draw - hope to get the same from Tuttle-Chandler. I don't think Lott has the defense to stop Davidson, or really slow him down (Fair defense), so Otto gets the edge there. Just hoping to minimize the difference between them.

Frankfort has the edge in team FG%, but others are a draw (Frankfort 58%, 36%, 79%; Philly 50%, 38%, 78%). Philly has a +67 FTA adv (+3/game), which is concerning - they could win the game UNC/Duke style from the FT line. Philly also has a considerable +62 steal advantage for the year (~3/game), but Frankfort counters will a modest TO adv (37 less than Philly). Although a short team, Philly has more blocks (149-122), which indicates their high athleticism. As in most games, Frankfort enjoys a scoring adv from the bench (31-25).

This is probably a coin-flip game, but I'm glad to have a considerable FG% ad on my side. Unless someone gets really lucky with the RNG, it's probably a one possession game.

good luck man. Control SF and PG and i dont see you losing

Boca Raton 65
Springfield 51

Boca tied it's career high wins (21) for the 3rd straight season. A win Friday night against Nashville would give Boca their best season ever. Despite Frankfort making the NTT Championship and Boca winning, our PR remained at 9. :rulz:

Against Springfield, Atkins scored 26 and SR Bert Hutchings was shut out. The key to the game was Boca's 35 to 22 rebounding edge.

Recruiting
As far as recruiting goes, I believe it's a toss up between Boca (6.45) and Pierre (14.85) for Henry Pate. We're the only 2 teams sub 25 ranked PR based on weighted 3 year #s. If Boca can remain top 10 after Friday our # will stay in single digits.

I also like my chances with Jake Evans as both Miami (22.8) and Dearborn (39.6) haven't improved their rankings with post season play.

Brent Floyd is a complete toss up as Jackson has improved his PR significantly during post season play and they are now tied with Boca at 6.45.

We have 3 options in the net so I'm not worried about walk ons. I expect we'll win at least 1 tie and optimistically hope for 2. You just never know in this game though.:noidea:

storm u know ur PR is frozen after yhe first game of the NTT right. Win or lose u wont dip below 9.

In recruiting I have a1/1, 2/2, 3/3, and a 6/6. So lazy this cycle and had no luck on any of my net. Think i'll get 2 of them but it will be touch and go. As we know recruiting is a crap shoot.

In checking out my team tonight, I just realized something that should give us all hope: Bernard Tuttle is the only max tie on my team. Everyone else is a netter.

Correction: Marvin Haynes was a 1/1 max tie. He's so "meh," I thought he was a netter. Oh hi, Marvin, didn't see you standing there....As I was saying, Marvin Haynes is an integral part of our team. hehe...

Bernard was a 4/4 tie.
