i didn't start watching until season 2 and this was one scene that always stuck in my head...mcnutty, drunk driving and the pogues!

 
The best line is when Omar robs Marlo's poker game, Marlo just looks at him with a "do you know who you're fucking with" expression, and Omar says "boy, you got me confused with a man that repeats himself."

Can't see videos or pics while at work, so someone might have already mentioned the scene where McNulty is undercover at the whorehouse. He gets off right as the place gets raided = awesome. Season 2, I think.
 
I love the scene when Cutty is watching two other guys in Barksdale's crew try to get this girl's attention. She is busy ignoring them and he walks up to her, slaps her right in the face and says, " We gonna talk."

It's impossible to pick just one scene out of this series, but I do love how awesome Avon and Stringer are in the first season. I'm more partial to the first couple of seasons just because I have watched them more times.

 
Way too many to pick just one, but the car scene where Michael kills Snoop is pretty powerful.

As far as Omar's stick up scenes go, I love the one where he's walking to the store in his robe to get cereal, stops for a smoke and someone drops a bag of drugs at his feet. Hilarious.
