Whether or not Luis Suarez is a racist is beyond the scope of the committee. Red herring.

I suppose I should have figure that an attempt at humor would be beyond the scope of this thread.

I guess calling me a racist however is perfectly acceptable.

I really can't believe only one person has had the guts to tell dv he was WAY out of line here.

I mean this is one of 10 mods on this board. Wouldn't you think a mod would be held to a higher standard, rather than a lower one?

Another mod in being an apologist for dv said "well you have to remember the Cowboys lost."

That excuses calling someone a racist multiple times just because they don't agree with you in a discussion? Unbelievable.

I don't need this shit. Someone please delete this thread. I'm posting only on the politics board now and only about politics or related topics. I already know I know more than damn near all of you about just about any sport, and sports is a lot less important than politics right now. I feel like I might in theory have a civil discussion and actually learn something on the politics board, whereas here it's basically turned into a game of "how long can I ignore a baiting nuisance?"

I am fully aware that this is giving some people exactly what they want, and I do regret that, but it's about me, as it always has been. And giving in to those people no longer outweighs consistently being asked to deal with this horsecrap, and being put in a completely different category with regards to how people are allowed to treat me.

Goodbye and good luck to Wake Forest football until Grobe leaves or retires. He's the only reason I ever supported the team in the first place. Unlike many of you here, he's someone I've enjoyed being around every time I've had the opportunity, both in Athens and in Winston-Salem. I truly chuckle every time someone criticizes him or someone he chooses to employ (and by extension, his hiring choices and thereby him) because that person has apparently forgotten how lucky WF is to have him, and how it'll probably be a long time before they again have a coach as good as him.

Fortunately for the school and fans with functional brains, those people although significant in number on this board, are numerically insignificant among the people that matter.

And any Liverpool supporters (or really most of the soccer fans excepting one who no doubt every knows who he is) who want to send a private message or connect outside the forum, feel free to msg me.

I've never been asked to adjudicate such a matter, and don't have a detailed 115 page report in front of me on which to rely in forming a judgment. Sadly, I am unable to help you out with this.

Bullshit. You'll be back.

Carroll flick to Kuyt past Evra.

Vindication in triplicate. Poetic justice. Couldn't have dreamed a better ending.

Fantastic game on short rest, deserved result. Liverpool bossed the end when they had more regulars on. Up until then, Man U had a lot of possession but really did very little with it. Giggs looked well past it going against Kelly. The one goal Man U got was pretty fortunate and not really having to do with their possession advantage. Not sure why Enrique didn't just foul to stop him from going on. He was in front, it probably wouldn't have even been a card. Oh well, came out right in the end.

The best reaction in the whole ground. Well, other than some Manc crying.

Those of you who care to remind that you said I'd be back, feel free. This is worth it, dammit. So fucking worth it.

Hey DV, still think Dalglish is past it?

He straight fucking clowned Ferguson today. Fergie got it all wrong, Dalglish got it exactly right.

I think I might have gotten a virus from downloading the game because I had to work when it was being played.

Worth it anyway.

Hey DV, still think Dalglish is past it?

Eh?????
United outplayed Liverpool today. Dalglish, Gerrard and Kuyt all admitted that.
This being United without 9 first team players. Not that I want that to be an excuse, because it isn't, but just pointing out something that is accurate and true. Much like how it is accurate and true that you're a defender of racists.

Liverpool won on the scoreboard tho, and that's all that matters. So, well done to them.

This yet again confirms that you don't know what you are talking about when it comes to footy. Thinking Liverpool deserved that win. Fucking ridiculous.

Fiction can be fun! Liverpool are in 7th place in the Premier League. They are a cup side now. Congratulations on the win today. Good luck finishing 4th...

You must have felt like a complete dumbass. Two guys you love to hate on doing the shit on your prevaricating black defender.

Still think Kenny's past it. Fucking clowned Fergie today. Just like he clowned him at Liverpool before. Just like he clowned him at Blackburn. Better player, better manager. Fergie will retire rather than be around when King Kenny fully raises Liverpool this. This was the prelude. The siege mentality is back, the fuck the world we're Liverpool, you're in Anfield and nothing else matters mentality is back. A dog tired side thrown together to try to get the team through long enough to bring on some slightly less tired subs still enough to do the job.

Real classy from the away fans singing 96 dead, not enough. Proud of the Liverpool support for being the bigger men and the better club supporters and not retaliating with an equally inappropriate chant. I guess Kenny has more respect from his supporter than Fergie does from his; when Kenny says keep it clean, they listened except one idiot that has seen his last game inside Anfield.

So thrilled my boi Kuyt was the man to bag the winner. Not sure if I should wear my Dalglish shirt or my Kuyt Netherlands shirt out tonight.

And no United supporters chanted about the 96, you fucking liar.

Lots of people from the game (granted, they were pool fans) said the Manu supporters were chanting "murderers, the sun was right" or something like that.

Yet, no independent media people verify this.

Just like how Liverpool "supporters" started the rumor that United supporters were spitting on the Hillsborough Memorial and were arrested. Mersey Police confirmed that "rumor" was nonsense. Just like this "rumor" that the liar wants to perpetuate. Typical.

Eh they had more possession. But Liverpool had more shots, more shots on goal, more corners, more shots close to the goal, and did everything they would have planned to do coming into the match. They put a team out to hold the fort until reinforcements could be brought in for the last 20-30 minutes. And it worked. United could have the ball all they wanted...never really worried me that much. They couldn't actually do much with it. Welbeck was bottled up by Skrtel and Carragher most of the game and when he wasn't the sweeper keeper Reina was right on the job. Kelly emasculated Giggs, Giggs has to be comtemplating retirement after how useless he was. Carrick completed 105 passes says the stats but I can't remember a single one standing out as leading to anything. Man U got one rather anomalous goal on a play Enrique should have stopped with a foul. They got nothing with their possession advantage really. Valencia was the only guy that looked slightly threatening on a consistent basis, but there was no one to make good on an aerial cross for Man U.

Then Fergie got greedy and went for Chicharito while Dalglish reinforced his midfield options going forward, which was always going to be the plan considering the fatigue factor.

I remember you disagreeing with me when I said Liverpool was building a physically imposing team. Today it definitely showed up. Liverpool dominated in the air throughout, and it showed up most in the winning goal. Carroll did a great job all day battling for balls and harassing people. De Gea chunked a few out of bounds under his duress.

I don't buy it. Not going to run down the whole team but a lot of guys played that have played a lot of big games over the last several years and there's no guarantee they wouldn't have been chosen given how much Fergie likes to change the side for matchups. Nani, Vidic and Rooney are clear starters that were out. That's about it, and Nani has been left out of games against big clubs before because Fergie preferred a steadier player.

Liverpool won on the scoreboard tho, and that's all that matters. So, well done to them.

This yet again confirms that you don't know what you are talking about when it comes to footy. Thinking Liverpool deserved that win. Fucking ridiculous.

Hope Man U thinks the same as you. Fergie certainly seemed to think so and it seems Liverpool was all too happy to play into his opinion. But more shots, more shots on goal, more corners, and forcing more saves from the opposition tells a different story. Possession doesn't mean shit if you don't do anything with it. Man U was credited according to gamecast with 2 shots on goal. One of them went in, and they were almost fortunate enough to get a replay out of 2 shots on goal. But they were not the better team and it showed late when Liverpool's sub-reinforced team dominated play despite playing on tired legs.

Fergie got the tactics wrong. He played the wrong goalkeeper. Welbeck needed help and didn't get it. Dalglish got it just right -- playing Carra, playing Kelly for Johnson, making the right subs at the right time, even taking his captain off. And i don't know if it was a pre-game conversation or the crowd that got Carroll going, but he played very well and worked his tail off throughout and dominated in the last 20 when he got some help going forward.

But if you want to buy what KK, the captain and Dirk are selling, by all means. They know they have to go up the M-62 in a couple weeks; no use giving any more motivation than will already be there. If they want to think they played great and were just unfortunate, fine by me and I'm sure fine by Liverpool.

Bottom line is two guys you love to say are terrible combined to put it to the one guy Liverpool fans would most like to have seen so dealt with. Evra getting bitched...couldn't have been a more awesome ending.

I'm sure DV knows better. After all he was several thousand miles away.

As for the media not reporting it, small wonder there.

DV, what do you think of Man U having the most fan arrests of any team in England? By more than double the 2nd place as well. Also had two of the 23 fans in England that were implicated for racist or indecent chanting.

And that doesn't even count the racist chant toward one of their own players!

http://menmedia.co.uk/manchestereve...premier-league-of-shame-for-match-day-arrests

Yet the media chooses to focus on one idiot at Anfield "marring" Liverpool's win. Fuck the media. They've always favored Manchester, Birmingham and London because that's where the most people are. Liverpool metro's barely bigger than Newcastle metro, smaller if you count Sunderland in it.

So superclassy to copy PMs onto the public board. You are a complete douche.

And I still stand behind every word. I wouldn't have written it otherwise.

Here y'are. Now fuck off.

"There were other incidents: police were investigating claims that a man was captured on camera making monkey gestures at Manchester United fans and United fans sang merciless chants about Hillsborough, whilst content that they were on the high moral ground."

good grief. not only do we have the teams to argue about who is better, we can now argue which fans are better (or less bad anyway).

I'm just responding to DV's assertion that it didn't happen because no one reported it.

Well, someone reported it.

Your move, chief.

dv7 gets pissed his team loses and then goes after the fans. same story different day.
