NBA Thread

As a Kings fan, "Peja time" means airballs in overtime.

Be careful what you wish for.

Truth.

He has attacked the basket all night too.

Someone tell me he is soft

He's never been soft. Played with a bum ankle half his career. Anyone who says so is crazy

Only the Bulls-Pacers series is over. I still like the Blazers.

Really torn tonight. The first Nuggets - Thunder game was balls out, but got to watch the Spurs. May be a to and fro night with the remote.

There WILL be some technicals tonight in OK City. Perkins penciled in for one and JR Smith most likely assuming he's on the court when Perkins does something dirty to Nene.

i always forget how damn tired i am at work during the nba playoffs.

the nice thing about the last few years is i have not had to endure excruciating losses in the playoffs. i forgot how much these suck. fuck KG.

I am interested in what the mavs do next. They haven't been up 2-0 since the Heat Finals

Also the OKC game will be awesome. Cant wait

Here is my one theory about this statement. I think with the way the Mavs first round matchups have gone over the last four year, if the Blazers wanted to win, they needed to steal one of the first two in Dallas. That would have brought back the doubt, put the pressure on the Mavs.

Instead Dallas took total control towards the end of the 3rd quarter and the Blazers didnt have an answer. TO me the telling sign was in the last few minutes Miller, the only Blazer with significant playoff experience was the only one who was still trying to claw back into the game. The rest of the team was done.

The Blazers thought they were going to come out and blast the Mavs last night. And after the first few mins it looked like they might. But the Mavs took the Blazers punches and then threw some serious blows back.

I think for the first time, Portland actually realizes Dallas is the better team. COuld they still win? Absolutely. But I think they now know they have to play their very best the rest of the series to win

All they really have to do is win game 3. I just find the Mavs fragile. Other than Chandler, Dirk, and Kidd, there is nobody on the team I want. I loved butler, and with Butler the Mavs were gonna be scary in the playoffs, but Terry is at best erratic, and worst, he grabs nuts in scrums and goes after the big boys ... like Steve Blake and then dances away.

Since Kidd and Chandler are not consistent offensive weapons, that leaves a lot of the scoring in the 4th quarter to Terry, and I just don't like the dude. He says all the right things and then goes back to grabbing nuts when the going gets tough.

If Portland wins game 3 and game 4, and I think they will, then I like Portland in a best 2 out of 3 despite the Mavs having home court.

So you like the team down 2-0 to win both games against the NBAs best road team and then also win a best 2 of 3 series where they have to win at least one game in Dallas? :werd:
