Hmmm gotcha. Thanks. Temp may eliminate outdoor storage all together.
I did all my fermenting at Wake in the dorm room closet. You don't need much space for the actual carboy, it's just the initial cooking and end bottling where you need work space.
Well hope has been restored then. Thanks.
I think I'm gonna head up to the Wilmington Homebrew store for one of their all grain demonstrations tomorrow afternoon and see if I can't get the ball rolling on my own homebrew.
Or I could go play 18..... Choices...
I hate it when I have these two options...so I usually do both! Let me know how that new store is. I've been hearing good things.
I usually give it at least a week to bottle condition, and it definitely improves over 1-3 months.
Planning to bottle my first homebrew this weekend. Any tips? Anything I need to keep in mind during the process?
I'm already well aware of "sanitize, sanitize, sanitize."
Finally got around to brewing my first batch of amber ale from the kit this morning. It was much simpler than I expected. Only issue was the funnel filter as I was transferring it to the carbouy. The filter got clogged, and I finally said screw it and removed the filter.
