Quite handly.

Really? On interruptions perhaps... I didn't think anyone won in that debacle. Ryan never got to complete an answer. Biden was Biden and the moderator was a dingbat. You can call it as you see it. In my mind it was like calling a winner in a third grade soccer game when nobody scores a goal, the detached kid is picking dandelions and the parents are blessing each other out.

Ryan lost that debate when he hilariously dodged the question asking him to explain some of the "loopholes" the Romney plan would eliminate. The rest of it was white noise to me. That singular moment was cringe worthy.

And when Biden called him out on stimulus money.

I agree with this. There were some irrelevant gotcha moments, but the complete inability to articulate what the tax plan is and how it is going to close the deficit other than ridiculous Pub "magic beans" arguments was pretty damming.

Not to mention the latest cop out is that they want to reach a bipartisan agreement on a tax plan.

If they say they are the party of compromise, it must be true.

Republicans are as bipartisan on their tax plan as the Democrats were bipartisan on their health care plan. Neither side is interested in bi-partisanship. Republicans are worse, but Democrats are not spotless either.

What was the Republican health care plan? IIRC, they didn't have one. Well, they were opposed to Obama's. That didn't exactly leave much room to compromise.

Sweet, Romney is surging and looks like he will take FLA! We all get our taxes lowered by 20% and Obamacare will be gone!

At 42, I'll be dead in 30 years and I have no kids, so fuck it...let's all get rich and fuck the rest

Obamacare is a bipartisan plan already and they spent a lot of time and political capital trying to get Republican support for it.

I can guarantee you without a shadow of doubt that Biden's opening segment about Libya was an outright lie. He made the claim that intelligence told them it was a riot. We have the best intelligence in the world, and EVERY other intelligence source was labeling it a terrorist attack before we came out in the press and finally recanted our story. Take off your blinders. Biden was full of crap just as much as Ryan.

This may be the most incorrect thing I've ever read on The Tunnels.

Please. You are not an undecided.

I am more undecided than 90% of the people in this country. I can't tolerate the Republican platform on the vast majority of social issues. On the other hand, there are numerous planks of the Democratic platform I also cannot stand. I will probably vote Romney, but I will almost certainly vote Democrat in my local house of representatives race. I am registered as an independent, and I would guess that over the 10+ years I have been voting that I have voted Republican 70-75%% and Democrat 25-30%

Having said all that, Biden came across as an arrogant douche in the debate. Ryan came across as that guy who has big ideas, but no clue about any of the details or how to implement them. Neither of them slammed the door on the other.

The idea of Cantor, Bohner, Romney, and Ryan teaming up on legislation on pretty much anything sounds really bad for America to me. Thank God they won't have a majority in the Senate.

But like I said, fuck it. I'll just take my tax break and live out my days. It's y'all's kids, not mine. :noidea:

Despite my philosophical hatred of the mortgage interest deduction, as a home owner, there is no way in hell I'd ever vote for Romney/Ryan. Their tax plan is just vague enough to scare the hell out me (and my deduction).
