2024 Carolina Panthers thread - WR Leggette (#32), RB Brooks (#46), LB Wallace (#72), TE Ja'Tavion Sanders (#101)

This. When you already have a good team but have a hole at RB, taking Brooks in the 2nd is a great move - he and Benson are probably the best RBs in this class. But when you have gaping holes everywhere and can take a Tyrone Tracy or Isaiah Davis late, you fill the other holes 1st.

I don't dislike Worthy - he's good. I just found it odd that KC took him when they already had Hollywood. Now if they take UVA's Washington, they'll have the trifecta. I also like Polk and McMillan - that UW WR corps was sick. Howie Roseman is absolutely slaying this draft as usual. So are...

Thought Hollywood was on a longer deal. Don't get me wrong, Worthy is good. He's not just fast. Not anti Veach or Reid in any way - just thought it was strange to have their starters this year (with Rice missing some time) to be 2 diminutive really fast guys. I also think Hollywood is going...

I said finally because Love looked like a bust that 1st couple of years, but then the light bulb came on for him last year. But the Rodgers drama and lack of playoff success was my point that drafting Love didn't exactly work out while Rodgers was still there. It's worked out now that Love...

Official 2023-24 NBA Season Thread - Games 3 and 4 weekend (8 games)

It's their 1st time, and they almost lost that 1st playoff game. Whereas the Wolves appear more mature and ready for the moment. Antman has become a legit stud and is talking trash to Durant. And they have the size to be a problem.

Love finally seems to have been worthy of the pick. But you had a pissed off prima donna starting QB creating a ton of drama in the building and had no subsequent playoff success with said prima donna QB. Rodgers made their lives as miserable as could those last 2 years.

Yeah, but that rando 2nd round Serbian turned out to be the best player in the league, and they might already have had another title or 2 had Murray not been out for the playoffs the prior 2 years. The Lakers have now lost like 10-11 straight to Denver. It's just a bad match-up for them, and...

I didn't get the pick from a KC perspective. They already had the same WR in Hollywood. I thought McConkey or Mitchell would have made more sense. From a Buffalo perspective, I like the trade because you get more draft capital and Mitchell or McConkey with the next pick and maybe Malichi...

That would make sense. The measurables on most of the day 2 edges aren't that great - a bunch of 250 lb guys running 4.7-8. Mo Kamara (CSU), Brennan Jackson (WSU) and Jalyx Hunt (Houston Christian) are 3 interesting guys in the 4th round range.

He's long gone. I think Pitt takes him or Barton. But there's a good chance Frazier from WVU will be there at 33 and then go WR at 39.

Japan must have a law that all their courses be lush, green and pristine. That's a really pretty tree lined course with mountains in the background where they're playing this week. I also like Wilshire where the women are playing - very old and quirky. The Nawleans Dye course doesn't do a lot...

    Football Deacs in the NFL

Yeah, both Sikkema and Rogers had Mustapha in 5th round range and Carson in 4th round range in their final top 200s.

Not so sure that would be the best thing for Alex. Toiling away for 2-3 years on some of the world's great courses and traveling the world is a great way to start a career. I like building up till he's top 10 over there before coming here, especially because he's from the UK. We've had a...

Why do you say that? He needs to correct a fumbling problem and maybe work on some mechanics, but, as long as he's a hard worker, I see him and Daniels as the surest franchise QBs in this draft.
